TradeAnswer ("we", "us", "our") operates tradeanswer.co.uk. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR.

1. Information we collect

When you sign up or use our service we collect:

Your name, email address, and phone number
Your business details (name, services, areas, pricing)
Payment information processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details
Call transcripts from your AI receptionist — stored temporarily to generate lead summaries
Your callers' names and phone numbers — used only to email you their lead details

2. How we use your information

To set up and run your AI receptionist service
To send you lead summary emails after calls
To process your monthly subscription via Stripe
To contact you about your account or support requests

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to run the service (Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI processing, Vapi for call handling).

3. Call recordings and transcripts

Your AI receptionist creates transcripts of calls. These are used only to generate your lead summary email and are not stored permanently. Callers are answered by an AI — this is disclosed if they ask. We do not record calls for any other purpose.

4. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as you are a customer. If you cancel, your data is deleted within 30 days on request. Call transcripts are not retained after the lead summary email is sent.

5. Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights contact us at hello@tradeanswer.co.uk.

6. Cookies

Our website uses no tracking cookies. We use no analytics software that identifies individual visitors.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payments are processed by Stripe which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data.
